Who is playing at watershed at the gorge

The Watershed Festival. One of the top-selling festivals in the state is back at the Gorge this weekend, after a year off. It features big name country music artists, and usually draws around 25, fans to the Gorge. This will be by far the largest concert that we've seen in Washington since the pandemic hit. Personally, the artist that I'm most looking forward to is Ashley McBryde, who has really been climbing her way up the country ladder the last few years.

She has this big powerful voice, and sings with a ton of heart. She's got a kind of a rock and roll swagger in her music, and some outlaw edginess that I think the Nashville establishment hasn't always embraced from women. There are a couple of outdoor venues that I think are really a nice bridge for people who are trying to ease back in to going to shows again, and may not want to get back inside the packed, hot, rock clubs that we think about.

They have sort of a kitschy beer garden, an old Airstream bar, and they've been getting a great mix of music beyond the bluesy, juke joint type of acts that you expect at a barbecue place. Boy, what you do to me is criminal…. Morgan Evans. Gabby Barrett. Blanco Brown. Ned LeDoux. Dee Jay Silver. Mixing up beats between sets each day of the festival! Callista Clark. Payton Smith. Like I knew you would, one look in your eyes and I could feel forever and it feels so good.

Shy Carter. Priscilla Block. Ross Ellis. Jackson Dean. Kylie Morgan. I learned a thing or two from Jesse James because I only date cowboys. Laine Hardy. Alex Hall. Whether all this sounds like a much-needed return to normalcy or a little jarring is in the eye of the beholder. Dickerson seemed a little gassed at times, understandable for a guy working the catwalk as hard as he was and wearing jeans in degree heat. Water lines were predictably long, and empty tallboys became refillable water bottles for more than a few fans.
